Shipping is a fundamental service aspect for our customers, which is why we work hard to develop strong relationships with many delivery partners to ship to as many global locations as possible, stay up to date with all international regulations and provide the best possible service.
All prices quoted are based on a standard 70cl bottle and therefore may vary for heavier or larger bottles.
Prices are VAT included where applicable.
All deliveries must be signed for upon arrival by persons over the legal drinking age in the destination country - proof of age may be required.
Delivery companies may require contact details for the recipient. Please include a phone number and/or email with the recipient address when placing an order.
Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit. Except where the customer has opted and paid for Loss & Breakage Assurance, the risk of loss and/or breakage in transit is exclusively held by the customer; no claims shall be entered into by or against WhiskyTrades.
In order to lower risks associated with leakage, WhiskyTrades offers a stopper wrap service with parafilm. Even though this represent by far the best way to protect your bottle, the risk of leaking during transit is exclusively held by the customer; no claims shall be entered into by or against WhiskyTrades.
All orders shipped outwith the EEA (European Economic Area) may be eligible for local taxation and duties upon arrival in the destination country, which are payable by the customer. Please make sure we can deliver to your location, as you will be responsible for any local taxes, duties and any other requirement when importing alcohol.
We are unable to provide refunds on purchases which have been destroyed, delayed or returned to us due to customs, administrative issues and/or unpaid fees/taxes.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if your country is not listed below.
WhiskyTrades suggests that you collect your winning lots directly from our offices in Rome, Italy, to reduce the hazards connected with transferring winning lots. If this is not possible, or if you wish to have your items transported to you, the purchaser is responsible for both loss and damage. While our crew makes every attempt to safely package and send orders, the courier providers do not accept any responsibility for items lost or damaged in route. To address this, WhiskyTrades offers 'Loss & Breakage Assurance' to our customers as a way to cover things that are lost or broken during shipment.
Please keep in mind that Loss & Breakage Assurance only covers breakage and loss during transportation; it does not cover any loss resulting from an item's condition.
As a result, it will not protect lots against seal failures or visual damage.
Loss & Breakage Assurance is automatically selected at the checkout stage for your convenience. If you do not want to purchase Loss & Breakage Insurance, please de-select this option when finishing your transaction.
